reflection 11/22/10

We took a test in which determined what our spiritual gifts. By answering questions we write down numbers of whether it is true or not false in the range of 3-0. After recording the numbers we add it up on the column of a-p. Then we see what our top 3 corresponds to. My top with 16 was J and P. J was Knowledge in which i can relate to because I have lot of biblical knowledge that i have studied over the years. I can tell a basic summary of some characters of the bible. The other alphabet was P which was Wisdom. Wisdom in the booklet says ii give helpful advice to others who face complicated life situations. I can kind of relate to this because when my friends in the dorm give up their grades, or decides to focus on earthly things such as smoking, drinking, or playing games all day i try to convince them by telling them someday we will regret for what we did than what we did not do because humans make dumb choices and we regret lot about our choices.

Reflection 11/11/10

Today, we were discussing about the purpose of out career.So basically, we talked about benefits of having career and how it affects me and my choice toward the career. so today we organized the career purpose by importance of it. I putted "Being successful" in the first place. Realistically, being successful is the first thing that we need to achieve. you can earn money or help other people after that. So I putted it in the first place. then I think I putted "earning money" for the second. In this cruel society, without money, no one can survive. money= power and money controls everything. so I putted it in the second. and in the last place, I putted "working hard" in it. I personally don't like hard working. If you work hard, then your health will get bad so I'll die early and I don't want to die early. So I putted it in the last.

Reflection about talent

I personally think I'm talented at joking and making people laugh. When I'm with my friend, playing around, I am the one who's always making the atmosphere joyful. Also I think I have pretty sensitive noses. I'm really good and smelling something or smelling the oder of the food. sometimes sensitive nose is kind of annoying but still I like the way I am. Also since it's international school, I'm really good at Korean among the people in my school. I hope I will get to use these talents in the future wisely.

reflection 11/8/10

- Since I don't have any plan about my career on the future, I'm just planning on studying hard because if my grade is high, it's better for me to choose career in the future.
- Yes, it does. since I'm man, I need more serious job with enough pay because if I get family, I need to feed them and spend money on them.
- probably my parents of my friends. Obviously, parent will help me with having job by making me study or learn things that I need for my career, and probably my friends will help me if they can. They can teach me something of give me some information.
- No, not actually. since I'm not christian, I might not be able to get help from bible. However, in bible there are some advices that non- christian people can get help from so in that case, bible can help me by giving me advice.
